Truth and Reconciliation Day Prayer

The Indigenous Connections team invites you to gather, on the national day for Truth and Reconciliation, at the monument outside the residential school on Tkemlups te Secwepemc land.

This is our second year gathering pray on this national day to remember and reflect. As a church, we are committed to praying, working, and building bridges with Indigenous people to acknowledge the past and work towards a better future.

Please come to the monument at 7:30am to pray (if you have an orange t shirt, please wear it). We will listen to a story, and be led through a few different prayer movements that will led us to reflect, acknowledge, and long for a new and better future.

Our time will conclude at 8:30am.

We encourage you to bring your whole family, neighbours, and friends who share a similar heart for Indigenous people in our city, province, and country.
