Deeper Kids

Deeper Kids is our discipleship program designed to lead kids into a deeper love for church, a deeper sense of belonging, and most of all deeper in Jesus & His Word. Children can attend up to 4 years in a row, with new material being covered each year.

Children in Grade 3 – 6 are welcome to attend.

Tuesdays, October 6 – November 24 from 6:30pm – 8:00pm

There will be supervision after the class for children whose parents are attending Soul Care.

What is Deeper Kids?
1. Deeper love for church:
When kids look forward to church, it can establish a sense of home and joy that can open their hearts to Jesus in the years to come. Our aim is for kids to walk away not only having had fun in the church building but fun doing church – fun loving others, praying, and learning about God.

2. Deeper sense of belonging:
When kids feel safe and loved, they can thrive and be more receptive. We intentionally keep our ratios small for more focused relationship between leaders & kids. We expect families to commit to attend the program at least 90% of the time, as kids will grow in relationship with each other as well.

3. Deeper in God’s Word:
Kids love what they know! The more they have a grip on who’s who and what’s what in the Bible, the more confident and excited they are in knowing about and sharing about the Bible.

4. Deeper in Jesus:
We want kids to turn to Jesus in all things – pray when we’re sad, mad, scared or happy!
