Secwepemc Education Workshop

Our Indigenous Connections Team is pleased to host Bernice Jensen, from the Kamloops Aboriginal Friendship Society, to teach on the local Secwepemc people – their history, traditions, and culture. Bernice brings decades of experience and works in the school district teaching about local Indigenous heritage and culture.

We recognize that the path forward for all of us must include learning from and about one another. Bernice will be able to do just that during our morning together. We welcome both Indigenous and non-Indigenous to the event. There will be a light breakfast and lunch served (by donation).
