The Indigenous Connections Team welcomes you to a sunrise prayer time at the Kamloops Indian Residential School monument on Friday September 30th. This is to honour the national Truth and Reconciliation Day and to pray for healing from the past and hope for the future.
It’s easy to share quotes and messages online during this day. While awareness and solidarity are important, what is more effective and worthwhile is prayer. So please make this a priority as you start this federal holiday of awareness and hope for a brighter future.
We will meet at the monument at 7:30am and will pray until 8:15 or so. Please come, wear your orange shirt and be a part of what KAC longs and dreams for as we remember the past and pray for a better future.
