KAC desires to be a church that is aware of, and speaks into the lived experiences of people in our modern world. To that end, we are offering two different classes on Tuesday evenings, In November and December, focused on the integration of Christ and culture. These classes will pay particular attention on the idea and theme of human sexuality.
The first class facilitated by Pastor Cody (Youth and Young Adults Pastor), will help parents and students work through key issues. Using video material from Preston Sprinkle and Jason Soucinek, we will explore God’s beautiful intent for sex, sexuality, and gender. Our hope is to help bring the these important conversations to life in impactful ways for the parents and students at KAC.
Running concurrently, will be a class taught by Pastor Chris called, “The Bible, Sex, and a Changing World.” This class will focus on building a theological anthropology and seeking to understand the current moment we live in. Combining grace and compassion, with biblical and cultural exegesis, the class will hope to bring clarity to our cultural moment.
Tuesdays, November 7-December 12 | 7:00–8:30pm
